On the night of July 25, 2022, the Russian military launched a missile attack on Chuguiev, located southeast of Kharkiv. As a result of the shelling, a cultural center, a school, and heating networks in one of the city's neighborhoods were destroyed. The building of culture, built in 1952, suffered serious damage: the facades, walls, roof, and floor were destroyed. Three people were killed during the shelling.
