Burnt Russian equipment
Dovhenke, Kharkiv region
The village of Dovhenke south of Izium was on the front line for 5 months. After the occupation of Izium, the Russians captured several villages south of the city. Their goal was the city of Slovyansk, Donetsk oblast. But the village of Dovhenke stood in their way. The Russians tried to capture it for two months, shelling it mercilessly with all kinds of weapons. When the Russians occupied the village in early June, most of the houses had already been destroyed.
Dovhenke was under occupation from June 11 to September 10. During heavy fighting, the village turned into ruins. The Russians, in particular, placed their military equipment close to private houses, stole personal belongings of the villagers, destroyed property that was still intact at that time. At the time of de-occupation, there was not a single surviving house left in the village.
On the road to the village, there is still burnt Russian equipment.
