Steam Mill "Nadiia"
Huliaipole, Zaporizhzhia region
On February 17, 2024, during the Russian shelling of Huliaipole in the Zaporizhzhia region, the steam mill "Nadiia", built in 1894, was destroyed. The mill is a model of industrial architecture, a cultural monument, and one of the most recognizable buildings in the city.
From 1908 to the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the mill was operating as intended.

The Russians caused more serious damage to the building during the shelling on July 12, 2023, when the brick facades, roof, and glazing were damaged. On February 17, 2024, as a result of another Russian shelling of the historical part of Huliaipole, the internal and part of the external walls of the mill were destroyed.
