Kharkiv
Church of the Holy Myrrh-Bearing Women
The nine-domed church in the Ukrainian Baroque style was opened in 2015. The temple was built in the center of Kharkiv, on the site of the old Holy Myrrh-Bearing Women church dated back to the end of the XVII century, which was destroyed in 1930. It belongs to the Kharkiv Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate.
On March 2, 2022, the church suffered from Russian shelling of Kharkiv. Its northern side is significantly damaged. The stained glass windows are broken, domes and interior decoration are ruined.
