Kharkiv

Residential district in the northeast of Kharkiv is one of the youngest and most densely populated districts of the city. But now it is called a ghost district.

Of the nearly 200,000 people who lived here until February 24, less than a thousand remained. Currently, this is the most destroyed area of the city, 70% of the buildings are damaged.

Northern Saltivka is located near the Okruzhna Road, from where the Russian military tried to storm Kharkiv. There were heavy battles for the city, but even after the Ukrainian military pushed back the Russians, they continue to shell the residential area.
