Kyiv

On the evening of April 28, two Russian missiles hit a 25-storey residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv. There was a fire in the house, the first and second floors were destroyed. Ten people were injured, four were hospitalized, one person died. The deceased is Vira Hyrych, producer of the Kyiv bureau of Radio Liberty. Her body was found by rescuers under the rubble the next morning.

These days, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres was on an official visit to Kyiv.
