Mykolaiv

On the morning of July 15, the Russians fired at least 10 rockets at Mykolaiv. Half of them went to V.O. Sukhomlynskyi Mykolaiv National University.

More than half of the material and technical base of the university, educational premises, and equipment, was damaged. The facade, walls, roof, and offices were ruined. Windows and doors in the premises were blown out, and furniture and appliances were damaged. The building of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics suffered the greatest destruction, half of its building will have to be dismantled. Part of the main building is also unusable, it is destroyed by 20-25 percent.

On October 10, the Russian military shelled the university for the second time. As a result of the shelling, part of the building was destroyed, and windows and doors were damaged.

In general, 49 educational institutions have been damaged in Mykolaiv since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia.
