Dairy farm "Agromol"
Shestakove, Kharkiv region
From the first days of the full-scale war, the "Agromol" dairy farm in Shestakove suffered from Russian aggression. On February 28, Russian aviation carried out the first airstrike on the territory of the farm. The farm was occupied for more than two months. In May, the village of Shestakove and the farm itself were de-occupied. However, the Russian troops continued their artillery strikes at the farm because the frontlione was in few kilometers from the farm. The shellings continued until mid-September.
Before the war, the dairy farm in Shestakove in the Kharkiv region was one of the largest in Ukraine. It consisted of 12 cowsheds and raised 3,000 cows together with 500 goats. The farm produced 40 tons of milk per day. As a result of shelling, 2,000 cows died, the rest were relocated to the Poltava region when the village was de-occupied. The farm is destroyed by approximately 80%. In addition, the fields where grain is grown are heavily mined. The owners of the farm estimate losses in the amount of UAH 1 billion.
