Volodymyr Semenov has been keeping bees for thirty years. He talks with enthusiasm about bees and is gradually restoring what was destroyed during the Russian occupation of his native village of Novoselivka, near Lyman. He also grows tobacco, corn, and potatoes—he says he now gives everything to the military.
When the roof of Volodymyr's house was destroyed by the shelling, he was not at home. Upon returning, the man tried to restore the roof and ceiling on his own, and the "East SOS" organization came to help him.
"I've never been so lucky in my life, I didn't even think that this could happen. It's minus eighteen outside, and they're on the roof, so what is it?"—Volodymyr recalls about the work of the brigade.
